New Hospital Opens in Summer of 2011

June 1999 – Revolutionized the delivery of outpatient care with the opening of the Center for Health

The Elmhurst Memorial Center for Health was designed with the ideal healthcare experience in mind. We know that having a medical test or check-up can be stressful, so it was important to us to create a warm and welcoming environment to reduce anxiety and help you relax.

With comprehensive imaging and diagnostic services, outpatient surgery services, a rehabilitation program and immediate care, the Center for Health supports all of your health needs, including peace of mind. We're also open seven days a week with evening hours for your convenience.

May 2008 – Broke ground on a groundbreaking new Hospital

For more than 80 years, Elmhurst Memorial Hospital has been a pioneer in bringing technology, superior medical professionals and compassionate care to the communities we serve. And now the next evolution begins. Our fully integrated medical campus is located near the corner of York and Roosevelt Roads in Elmhurst and at the edge of patient-empowering health trends.

When complete in 2011, the focal point will be the 866,000-square-foot new Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. With 259 private patient rooms, it will be a one-of-a-kind healing environment, incorporating the latest trends in healthcare. The campus will also offer a full array of outpatient services and a variety of physician offices in one convenient location. And at the heart of it all is our commitment to treat the whole person, not just an illness.
